The Annie E. Casey Foundation released its latest KIDS COUNT® policy report, 
A Shared Sentence: The Devastating Toll of Parental Incarceration on Kids, Families and Communities

The report outlines recommendations state and local leaders can adopt to help the more than 5 million children 
(many of whom live in grandfamilies) who struggle with the emotional and financial instability of having an incarcerated parent.
